Urban transience.
That one of Jennilee Marigomen, young Canadian photographer, looks like an experimental research which deepens through different attentions the unusual implications of urban space, as if it were a kaleidoscope of meanings. Moreover in the investigation “Absent” her attention moves on to themes like displacement and transience of urban shapes and appearances. Her gaze lies on ordinary backgrounds to obtain ironic shades or subtle contrasts. A style that appears not intrusive and a bit remote, but still knows how to surprise and drag curiosity, pushing the viewer to question unexpectedly itself on the most unusual signs.
